
Kingston, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $167.91 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $171.89 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $213.34 per litre after an increase of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $221.26 per litre up by $4.50.
Kerosene increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $219.04 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $68.11 per litre up by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $76.20 per litre after an increase of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
